About the Role

Mott MacDonald is a global engineering, management and development consultancy that improves society by considering social outcomes in everything we do. We're seeking a talented Project Engineer to lead our Transmission Engineering activities in North America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design overhead and underground lines by creating technical specifications, calculations and drawings.
  • Review and Quality Assurance: Review design work completed by peers and ensure compliance with scope and QA/QC requirements.
  • Project Management: Effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of work activities with other multi-discipline project team members.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide engineering technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis, and resolution of problems.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and provide guidance to developing engineers within the department.
  • Professional Development: Continuous improvement of job-related, engineering technical and professional knowledge, skills, and performance.
Requirements
  • Experience: Significant knowledge of T&D Engineering with 5+ years' experience.
  • Education: A degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized accredited institution.
  • Professional Registration: Professional Registration (PE) required, or the ability to obtain a PE in 2 years.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience working with OEMs, Contractors, and Consultants.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.

  • Competitive Salary: A competitive salary range of $100,000 - $130,000.
