Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Department Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Radiology Department at Andrus and Dobbs Ferry pavilions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, productivity, and efficiency in the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the daily activities of the Radiology Department, including staffing, workflow management, and equipment maintenance.
  • Delegate assignments and responsibilities to Nuclear and Radiologic Technologists, ensuring optimal workflow and performance.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring compliance with NYDOH and TJC regulations.
  • Manage payroll timekeeping and participate in the human resources management function for the department.
  • Provide training and coaching to new staff members rotating through the department.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control on applicable equipment.
  • May function as a staff technologist in applicable modalities.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved school of Nuclear and/or Radiologic Technology.
  • Minimum of four years' experience as a Nuclear and/or Radiologic Technologist.
  • Licensed in the New York State in Nuclear and/or Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in the use of CR, DDR, and PACS.
  • Proficient in the use of MediTech (RIS).
