Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Vitality Senior Living. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve Meals and Ensure Resident Satisfaction: Prepare and serve delicious meals to our residents, ensuring their satisfaction and comfort.
  • Record Guest Meals and Report to Business Office Director: Accurately record guest meal requests and report to the Business Office Director as needed.
  • Recognize Department Needs and Report Concerns: Identify areas for improvement and report concerns to the Culinary Services Director.
  • Assist with Preparations and Daily Operations: Assist in preparations for special meals and parties, as well as daily operations and cleaning of the dining room and server areas.
  • Ensure Adherence to Infection Control Policies: Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to community infection control policies.
  • Perform Other Duties as Assigned: Perform other duties as assigned by Culinary Services, Sous Chef, or Cook(s).
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Food Handling and Sanitation Knowledge: Demonstrate knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
  • Customer Service Skills: Possess knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal service.
  • Food Safety Awareness: Understand food safety procedures, sanitation of equipment measures, and storage techniques.
  • Team Dynamic Awareness: Possess awareness of team dynamic, inventory, safety, and cleanliness.
