Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for installing and anchoring new equipment for security purposes, including security, camera, fire alarm, and access control systems. They will also be responsible for operating a variety of equipment, tools, and machines, and performing day-to-day operations on the job site.
Key Responsibilities- Install and anchor new equipment for security purposes, including security, camera, fire alarm, and access control systems.
- Operate a variety of equipment, tools, and machines.
- Perform day-to-day operations on the job site, including staging and performing daily work and communicating project status to Field Supervisors.
- Operate a company vehicle to obtain parts and drive to various locations to perform work.
- Perform related duties as assigned, ensuring that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations.
- Provide guidance and field training to apprentice technicians.
- Lead crews of other installers with high degree of communication, collaboration, and support.
- Valid Washington L&I 06 Journeyman license (NICET a plus but not required).
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day. Occasional on-duty weekends (calls paid minimum of 2 hours at double time).
- Minimum three (5) years of experience.
- Washington State Driver's License and proven good driving record.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Methods, materials, tools, and equipment for electrical systems.
- Applicable laws, codes, rules, and regulations.
- Follow appropriate safety precautions and procedures.
- Record-keeping techniques.
- Maintain tools and equipment in clean working condition.
- Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
- Observe legal and defensive driving practices with a valid driver license.
- Team player and dependable.
- Highly communicative, willingness to ask questions as needed, collaborate, support, and build up strong trainees.
