Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and safe execution of surgical operations.

Core Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safe and efficient execution of surgical procedures.
  • Prepare the surgical environment with sterile drapes, solutions, and necessary instruments.
  • Provide required instruments and supplies to the surgeon during operations.
  • Assist in the preparation, transportation, positioning, and draping of patients.
  • Maintain an organized instrument setup and monitor instrument counts throughout procedures.

Qualifications
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • Current BLS Provider certification required within one month of hire.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is mandatory prior to employment.
  • For non-certified applicants, a minimum of 18 months of surgical technologist experience within the last three years is required.

Educational Background
  • High School diploma or equivalent with two years of relevant experience, or
  • Associate's or Technical degree, or
  • Four years of applicable job-specific experience.
