Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at the Department of Veterans Affairs. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care, including history taking, physical examinations, and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and achieve quality care standards.
- Participate in patient safety initiatives and contribute to the achievement of quality care standards.
- Develop and maintain professional working relationships with clinical service providers and other healthcare personnel.
- Provide telephone consultation and communicate with inpatient multidisciplinary team members.
- Citizenship: Must be a citizen of the United States.
- Education: Graduate of a training program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education of PA (ARC-PA) or one of its predecessor organizations.
- Certification: Must have successfully passed the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE).
- Licensure: Must possess an active, current, full, and unrestricted license to practice in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- English Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in spoken and written English.
The selected candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and must be able to lift up to 44 lbs., carry objects up to 15 lbs., and stand for long periods. The incumbent must also be physically and mentally able to efficiently perform the essential functions of this position without hazard to themselves or others.
