About the Role
HCA East Florida Division is seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery Physician Assistant to join our team at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, FL.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room, clinic, and hospital settings
- Assist in surgical procedures, including orthopaedic trauma surgery
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement care
- Collaborate with orthopaedic surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in orthopaedic trauma surgery and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with occasional flexibility as needed
