About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Therapeutic Mentor to join our team at The Home for Little Wanderers. As a Senior Therapeutic Mentor, you will play a vital role in providing structured, one-to-one support services to youth in their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer strength-based support services to youth to address daily living, social, and communication needs.
  • Support with various administrative duties, including TM-related projects and supervisions.
  • Provide trainings and supervisions to Therapeutic Mentors to support with managing CBHI guidelines, paperwork demands, and communication with families, hubs, and collaterals.
  • Work closely with clinical referral sources and other clinical providers to achieve goals identified by the youth.
  • Participate in weekly individual and group supervision, monthly staff meetings, and other projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a human service field from an accredited university and one year of experience working with children/adolescents/transition age youth.
  • Associate's degree in a human services field from an accredited school and one year of experience working with children/adolescents/transition age youth.
  • High school diploma or GED and a minimum of two years of experience working with children/adolescents/transition age youth.
  • Bilingual candidates preferred.
  • Personal experience living with special needs, significant mental health issues, or struggles with systemic issues.
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer, with the ability to learn new software applications.
