Job Overview

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of our plant equipment by completing planned and unplanned maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production, packaging, and processing equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Inspect equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions to prevent downtime.
  • Use hand and power tools to remove, install, replace, rebuild, repair, and test parts and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain diverse equipment, including motor controls, BFD, refrigeration, mixers, conveyors, sensors, printers, and packaging equipment.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Complete work orders in a timely manner, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Maintain effective communication with other departments, management, and employees to notify them of problems and concerns that may restrict production efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all maintenance activities, including paperwork and electronic records.
Requirements
  • Industrial equipment maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
