Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time television studio technician to support our Communications and Digital Media students at Passaic County Community College.

This is a part-time, grant-funded position that requires a strong background in television studio operations and digital media production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare TV studio and organize multi-camera studio productions.
  • Prepare TV studio equipment for class lectures and student projects.
  • Assist students with technical skills support and practical support needed to succeed in their Digital Media and Distribution courses.
  • Manage the department TV studio, digital media classroom, and other facilities, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field required.
  • Five years of relevant experience in TV studio operations and digital media production.
  • Proficient in setup, operation, and maintenance of TV studio, control room, and production equipment.
  • Proficient in video editing software, including Final Cut Pro, Premier, and DaVinci.
  • Proficient in studio graphics and sound software.
  • Proficient in streaming live events and building and maintaining podcast studios.
