The compensation for this position is $61.91 per hour.

As an Operator, your main responsibilities will involve operating heavy machinery as instructed while strictly adhering to all safety regulations and protocols established by Mortenson.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to established safety guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the designated work area
  • Conduct routine maintenance, including lubrication, fueling, and cleaning
  • Monitor equipment performance to identify any malfunctions
  • Follow designated work plans and pre-task documentation
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, whether temporarily or permanently
  • Operate various equipment as required by the project, including but not limited to: Blade, Dozer, Loader, Scraper, Forklift/Telehandler, Crane, Bobcat/Skid-steer, Boom Lifts/Aerial Lifts, and Roller

  • Possess knowledge of equipment usage
  • Apply basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
  • Demonstrate independence in work

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Relevant equipment certifications as required
  • Preferred experience in the industry
  • Must hold a valid driver's license of the appropriate class with necessary endorsements as mandated by law
