Position Overview

The Parking and Transportation Services department is in search of a dedicated individual to take on the role of Customer Service Cashier. This position is pivotal in delivering exceptional service to both internal and external clients. The Cashier will handle transactions and permits for various programs, ensuring a positive and supportive experience for all customers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Process sales, refunds, and exchanges related to parking permits and transactions.
  2. Reconcile daily cash drawer and sales records accurately.
  3. Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly.
  4. Maintain an organized inventory of permits.
  5. Assist in the setup and sales of special permit programs.
  6. Complete assigned special projects efficiently.
  7. Provide assistance to customers regarding services offered and the purchasing process through various communication methods.
  8. Support the mail payment process by either processing incoming payments or tracking funds.
  9. Prepare special event fee collection bags.
  10. Conduct ticket and sales reconciliation after events.
  11. Participate in orientations and events to guide new students and their families.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent experience is required, along with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week.
