Job Summary

Summary: As a Cashier/Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for operating the Point of Sale system, assisting the Chef, preparing coffee, and maintaining the cleanliness of the coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts, as well as assist with catering orders.
  • Perform cashier duties using the POS system, maintaining cash accuracy and making deposits at the end of each shift.
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including removing trash and garbage to designated areas.
  • Provide exceptional service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
  • Inventories and restocks supplies and food products, ensuring that the refrigerator is stocked and product is rotated using the first-in, first-out rule.
  • Sets up serving lines, ensuring temperatures are taken, recorded, and within acceptable ranges, and notifies cooks if food temperatures are not within acceptable limits.
  • Serves hot and cold items to customers and sets up items for purchase on a daily basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
