Position Overview

Hazen and Sawyer is looking for a dedicated individual to fill the role of Assistant Engineer within our structural division.

Key Responsibilities

This role will focus on enhancing skills in the design and evaluation of environmental infrastructures, including:

  • Industrial Facilities
  • Pumping Stations
  • Process Basins
  • Treatment Plants

The selected candidate will also participate in the review of construction submissions.

Experience and Skills Development

The successful applicant will gain valuable experience in:

  • Steel and Reinforced Concrete Design
  • Reinforced Masonry and Aluminum Structures

Additionally, familiarity with building regulations and structural analysis software will be developed.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural focus from an ABET-accredited program
  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience
  • Progress towards EIT status through successful completion of the FE exam

Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team are essential.
