We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Specialist to join our team in Metro Detroit, MI. This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days of in-office work in Ann Arbor.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud technologies (Azure) and data engineering, with a focus on development of large volume information ingestion and transformation processes. This position will be responsible for orchestrating data interfaces into (and out of) our Enterprise Data Warehouse using Talend, SQL, Python, and other data engineering solutions.

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.

This position requires a strong understanding of key technologies such as SQL, ETL, data modeling, and data processing concepts. A good understanding of relational database concepts and data processing concepts is also necessary. Experience with data lakehouses (Databricks) and cloud technologies (Azure) is a plus. Strong communication skills (oral and written) and good analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop ETL (Talend) / SQL / Python based processes to perform complex data transformation processes.
  • Design, code, and test major data processing features, as well as work jointly with other team members to provide complex software enhancements for the enterprise data storage platforms (RDBMS, Lakehouse, No-SQL platforms).

  • Strong SQL skills with Relational DBMS technology - SQL Server
