Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Hematology Oncology APRN to join our team at KIDZ Medical Services. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our pediatric hematology oncology program.
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Florida.
  • Current BLS certification, PALS certification required.
  • Two to four years related experience or equivalent.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies.
  • Able to work collaboratively with multiple health professionals in a busy and complex environment using tact, diplomacy, and discipline.
  • Strong charting/documentation skills.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
