We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Hematology Oncology APRN to join our team at KIDZ Medical Services. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our healthcare team, and contribute to the development of our pediatric hematology oncology program.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our pediatric hematology oncology program.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Florida.
- Current BLS certification, PALS certification required.
- Two to four years related experience or equivalent.
- Ability to understand and adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies.
- Able to work collaboratively with multiple health professionals in a busy and complex environment using tact, diplomacy, and discipline.
- Strong charting/documentation skills.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
- Acute attention to detail.
