Position Overview
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Generating profitable sales and acquiring customers through our established marketing strategies.
- Receiving technical and sales training/support to maximize your success.
- Advising customers on various options to meet their needs and preferences.
- Identifying new business opportunities through direct sales efforts and providing support to administrative staff as needed.
- Communicating proper operation and maintenance of installed systems to clients.
- Addressing customer inquiries regarding operation, features, and benefits of the products.
- Completing necessary documentation for installations and processing payments as required.
- Generating leads through networking, data analysis from existing clients, and referrals from satisfied customers.
- Focus on customer service excellence
- Enhance revenue from existing clients and attract new customers through effective sales techniques and account management.
- Prepare estimates for sold projects, which will serve as the budget for each job.
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics to accurately size and design HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Follow up on all leads, proposals, and potential sales until they are finalized.
- Monitor lost sales for future improvement.
- Self-generate a minimum of 25% of all leads.
- Maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with detailed records of interactions.
- Assess customer satisfaction through follow-ups after installations/services, including calls at various intervals.
- Develop a solid understanding of our products and services, which may require ongoing training.
- Become familiar with local regulations, permit requirements, and submission processes.
- Collaborate with the Field Installation Supervisor to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
- Continuously enhance knowledge of construction practices and how Home Climates operates to benefit our clients.
- Set and review personal goals and objectives related to the position, with a clear action plan to achieve them.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, vendors, and clients.
- Seek customer referrals and online recommendations.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills.
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications accurately.
- Order materials and supplies as needed for projects.
- Manage time and schedules efficiently under budgetary constraints.
- Be proficient in necessary computer applications to fulfill job responsibilities.
- Possess knowledge of Excel and Word, and be comfortable using smartphones, email, and other digital tools.
- Understand client needs and positively influence their decisions.
- Commit to continuous learning through training, seminars, and self-study.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
