Job Title: Inspector V

Join the Health and Human Services Commission as an Inspector V and contribute to the protection of residents' health and safety in Texas long-term care facilities.

About the Role

As an Inspector V, you will conduct on-site inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting licensure inspections, complaint and incident investigations, and annual comprehensive surveys in facilities
  • Communicating clearly and accurately with facility staff, residents, and other stakeholders
  • Developing and implementing corrective actions to address deficiencies and violations
  • Participating in surveys, inspections, and investigations with assigned teams
