Parking Lot Attendant Job Description

Global Parking Systems LLC is seeking a skilled Parking Lot Attendant to join our team at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. As a Parking Lot Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our parking facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet and greet airport patrons at the Express Parking Lots, providing flight information, water, and directions associated with the operation and other airport services.
  • Communicate with Dispatchers and Supervisors on matters related to the operation and facilitation of service for the traveling public.
  • Maintain orderly queuing of buses and facilitate orderly parking of customers according to designed SmartPark procedures.
  • Assist in providing timely rotation of buses through utilization of orderly customer parking techniques.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with patrons and provide timely updates of information.
  • Complete reports related to type of assistance provided.
  • Knowledge of the airport and area roads.
  • Maintain accurate space counts and maintain the parking rows.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or combination of experience and education.
  • Valid Texas driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets acceptable company standards.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the company.
  • Speaks clearly; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions in the English language.
  • Writes clearly and informatively; Able to read and interpret written information.
Benefits:
  • After 90 days full-time employees become eligible for dental, medical, and vision insurance, paid holidays, sick time, and vacation.
  • Starting pay: $16.00/PER HOUR (Effective January 1st, 2022).
