As a Janitorial Maintenance Aide 2, you will be responsible for performing routine and repetitive tasks, processes, and operations in a manner that assures individual, co-worker, and public safety in all weather and working conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including dusting, sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, removing trash/recycling, and cleaning windows, walls, counters, and picnic tables.
  • Perform minor equipment and facility repairs.
  • Respond to special cleaning requests as assigned.
  • May be required to work at Community Centers for special cleaning assignments.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, preferred maintenance experience.
  • Preferred knowledge of preventative maintenance processes, techniques, and procedures.
  • Ability to learn to operate safely the equipment and machinery necessary to perform assigned tasks.
  • Ability to listen and understand direction/instruction, communicate with team members, and respond to customers tactfully and courteously.
