Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnostic imaging, particularly in ultrasound technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic procedures using ultrasound equipment, including detailed anatomy, multiples, twin to twin checks, and fetal dopplers.
  • Corroborate patient clinical history with procedure, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, providing instructions for desired results and minimizing anxiety.
  • Select and operate ultrasound equipment, and associated devices to achieve desired results.
  • Position patients and equipment to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort.
  • Immobilize patients as required for appropriate examination.
  • Determine ultrasonic frequencies and appropriate transducers for anatomic areas of interest.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality, ensuring proper identification is recorded.
  • Verify informed consent for, and assist licensed practitioners with, interventional procedures.
  • Practice aseptic techniques as necessary.
  • Assume responsibility for provision of physical and emotional needs of patients during procedures.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited sonography program or equivalent.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, or equivalent approved certification with current OB experience.
  • Licensed in the State of Oregon as Ultrasonographer or Radiologic Technologist/Sonographer.
  • MFM experience required.

Work Environment:

This position is a day shift, with normal position urgency and no holiday coverage required.
