Ultrasound Technologist Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a hospital setting.
This opportunity offers a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension, providing the chance to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct thorough examinations
- Recognize and record appropriate anatomy and pathology using sonographic equipment, ensuring accurate results
- Write detailed reports based on scan results, providing valuable insights for medical staff
- Alert medical staff of any abnormalities, ensuring prompt attention to patient needs
Requirements:
- Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- American Heart Association BLS
- 2 years of recent relevant experience in ultrasonography
