Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts detailed analyses of mail processing and maintenance operations to identify areas for service and productivity enhancements.
- Evaluates daily performance metrics to assess operational efficiency and recommends strategies for improvement.
- Collaborates with engineering teams to implement national initiatives and support facility enhancements.
- Provides expert guidance on engineering practices to optimize mail processing and maintenance operations.
- Facilitates training sessions for management and staff on standardization and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Communicates effectively with stakeholders to provide technical advice and policy guidance.
- Ensures compliance with safety regulations by reviewing changes to equipment and processes.
Qualifications:
- Proficient knowledge of industrial engineering principles, including layout planning and process analysis.
- Ability to design operational layouts and integrate equipment effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to compile and interpret data for operational improvements.
- Excellent communication skills for delivering technical guidance to diverse audiences.
- Education: A Bachelor's or advanced degree in industrial engineering or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
- Special Condition: Flexibility to travel and work outside standard hours for project needs.
