- Accountable for the accurate and timely completion of all financial and payroll-related administrative tasks, following company protocols.
- Implement and maintain sanitary practices for food handling, cleanliness, and upkeep of kitchen and dining spaces; ensure compliance with operational standards and legal regulations.
- Guarantee consistent high-quality food preparation and service delivery.
- Calculate food and beverage costs; collaborate with the Operations team to efficiently source and procure supplies; oversee portion control and preparation to minimize waste.
- Promote positive guest service across all areas. Address complaints effectively, taking necessary actions to convert dissatisfied guests into loyal patrons.
- Establish and uphold security measures to safeguard employees, guests, and company assets.
- Maintain a safe working and dining environment to mitigate the risk of injuries and accidents; promptly complete accident reports if incidents occur.
- Manage shifts that involve daily decision-making, scheduling, and planning while maintaining standards of quality and cleanliness.
- Provide guidance to staff regarding operational and procedural matters.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform job responsibilities with precision, efficiency, and attention to detail; prioritize, organize, and follow up effectively.
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrate technological proficiency (smartphones, computers, applications, software).
- Adaptable and capable of managing last-minute changes.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining within a chef-driven environment as a Director of Restaurant Operations.
- Strong knowledge of food ingredients, culinary techniques, and flavor combinations.
- Deep understanding of dining room dynamics.
- Extensive wine knowledge.
- Possession of a California Food Handler's Card.
