Position Overview:

Role Summary:
The Bar Support Staff plays a crucial role in ensuring the bar is well-stocked and organized, assisting bartenders in maintaining the flow of service. Compensation begins at over $12/hr, plus tips.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential tasks and responsibilities that must be executed with or without reasonable accommodation include:

  • Upholding and promoting the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming Omaha, LLC.
  • Efficiently stocking and organizing the bar area.
  • Adhering to all departmental rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and any applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Completing S.M.A.R.T. or T.I.P.S. training as required.
  • Preparing the bar for service, including cutting fruit, stocking ice, and managing waste disposal.
  • Assisting bartenders with their requirements and ensuring bar supplies are adequately maintained.
  • Reporting maintenance issues to the Beverage Operations Shift Manager.
  • Maintaining inventory levels and ordering bar supplies as needed; delivering supplies when they arrive.
  • Sorting recyclables, including bottles and cardboard.
  • Ensuring cleanliness of the bar in compliance with health department standards.
  • Providing exceptional service to both customers and colleagues at all times.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance consistently.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Prior experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Ability to use mobile devices and touch screen technology.
  • Experience with smartphones and/or tablet applications is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to excellence in guest service and ethical behavior.

Travel Requirements:
No travel is necessary for this position.

Work Hours:
Due to the dynamic nature of the hospitality and entertainment industry, team members must be flexible with their schedules to meet the operational needs of the venue.

Certification Requirements:
This position involves the sale, service, or distribution of alcoholic beverages and requires a gaming license. Candidates must be able to secure and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License and other certifications such as ServSafe and Alcohol Awareness.
