Position Summary

The Inventory Control Specialist II (1st Shift) plays a crucial role in managing the accuracy of our inventory for both components and finished products across various locations within the warehouse, including shipping and production areas. This position is vital for ensuring high standards of inventory record accuracy (99%).

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory in accordance with established Warehouse Management System (WMS) protocols.
  • Successfully complete all pre-employment screenings and training requirements.
  • Accurately assess and verify Handling Unit (HU) quantities and batches.
  • Engage in 'Search and Rescue' efforts for misplaced products.
  • Facilitate product rotation and retrieval to optimize storage efficiency.
  • Maintain awareness of the work environment to identify potential safety hazards and notify colleagues as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements

The role requires standing, walking, bending, twisting, and reaching while lifting boxes weighing up to 50 lbs or more from floor level to above head.

Ability to work in challenging conditions, including crowded environments and cold storage (temperatures ranging from -10 to 40 degrees), for the duration of the shift (8-10 hours).

Communication and Compliance

Foster honest and respectful communication within the team and adhere to company attendance policies.
