Job Summary

Wood plc is seeking a skilled Plant Operator I to join our team in Gillette, Wyoming. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our C02 Capture facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and operate processing equipment to maintain facility performance.
  • Perform regular inspections and conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Optimize processing throughout the facility and maintain proper product specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with the site management team and clients to ensure alignment on process equipment conditions, production targets, and facility challenges.
  • Exercise critical thinking skills to manage incidents and prioritize facility needs during construction, retrofits, downtime, and other non-operating conditions.
Requirements
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with coworkers, 3rd party support, and site management.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Physical ability to work extended hours, climb, bend, kneel, squat, and work at elevated heights with proper PPE.
  • High School diploma or GED and basic computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug, background, and fit test.
