Position Summary:
As a School Transportation Operator, you will receive comprehensive support from a local management team and the necessary training to perform your duties with safety and care. Your primary responsibility will be the secure transport of students along designated routes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and conducting daily vehicle inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a school bus along established routes, ensuring the safe pick-up and drop-off of student passengers.
- Perform pre-trip inspections to verify the safe operation of the vehicle.
- Conduct post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle integrity.
- Participate in monthly safety meetings to enhance operational safety.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the bus to uphold a professional appearance.
- Transport students on field trips and other activities as required.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Possess a clean driving record for the past 24-36 months.
- Willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Complete a thorough training program.
- Pass pre-employment background checks.
