About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cultivation Technician to join our team at Green Thumb Industries INC. As a key member of our cultivation team, you will be responsible for providing expert care and maintenance to our cannabis plants, ensuring they thrive in a controlled environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plant Life:
    • Topping and bottoming plants to promote healthy growth
    • Transplanting and defoliating plants to optimize yields
    • Tending to various growing mediums and scouting for disease or pests
    • Training plants to maximize growth potential
    • Adhering to national grow models and standards

  • Harvest:
    • Preparing the harvest room and equipment
    • Harvesting and processing plants
    • Defoliating and breaking down plants for drying
    • Cleaning and maintaining the dry and flower rooms

  • Sanitation:
    • Performing daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping
    • Cleaning and maintaining plant housing devices and equipment
    • Maintaining plant tables and pots
    • Reporting any issues or concerns to management

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certifications preferred
  • Minimum age of 21 years old
  • Valid state ID
  • Ability to obtain and maintain state badging requirements

Working Conditions:

  • Regularly required to perform reaching, grasping, bending, stooping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds with caution
  • Ability to work in an environment with temperatures above 85 degrees and humidity above 70%
  • Ability to work at heights using catwalk platforms, ladders, and scaffolds
  • Exposure to allergens such as cannabis, tree nuts, and coconut oil
