About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Oncology Patient Navigator Lead to join our team at The University of Chicago Medicine.

Estimated salary: $115,000 - $135,000 per year.

In this role, you will serve as clinical liaison and the single point of contact for patients, coordinating their care as they move from initial diagnosis, workup through transplantation, and survivorship.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all aspects of patient care for stem cell transplant and cellular therapy patients
  • Educate patients and their families regarding clinical aspects of their disease, purpose and nature of treatment, research protocols, and follow-up care post-transplant
  • Participate in process improvement projects to address transplant operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited academic body
  • Valid, unrestricted Illinois State license
  • Minimum two years of clinical experience working as an RN in Hematology or Oncology Specialty
