- 1. SAP Receiving - Verify purchase orders, supplier invoices, and warehouse receipts to ensure a three-way match. Confirm accuracy with the purchase order, supplier, and warehouse for received goods. Match the physical receiving documentation with the purchase order to ensure correctness. Request necessary supporting documents for receiving and validate supplier charges before entering information into SAP. Generate the goods receipt and notify customer service regarding product readiness for shipment. Depending on the volume of incoming products, complete 5-10 transactions weekly.
- 2. Freight Claims Management - Handle freight claims identified during the receiving phase. Receive materials into blocked stock, coordinate with the warehouse for potential rejection or blocking, and file claims with the shipping company. Follow up on claims until payment is received and confirm successful processing. If claims are unsuccessful, arrange for material disposal.
- 3. Disposal of Damaged Inventory - Biannually, compile a list of materials designated for disposal and liaise with disposal companies for approval. Upon confirmation of disposal, update the system to reflect scrapped materials.
- 4. Interdepartmental Communication - Maintain daily communication with various internal and external teams, including customer service, procurement, freight companies, and warehouses.
- 5. Purchase Order Tracking - Take the initiative in tracking purchase orders from confirmation to delivery. Update the status of purchase orders (Confirmed-Scheduled-ETD-ETA-Received-Processed) to ensure all stakeholders are informed of current statuses.
- 6. Certificates of Analysis Management - Ensure all Certificates of Analysis are received and uploaded to the system for customer service access.
- 7. Inventory Reconciliation - Assist in resolving discrepancies in inventory records. Identify incorrect postings or isolate receivers entered incorrectly in SAP.
- Preferred degree, though not mandatory.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills are essential.
