Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Automotive Logistics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for researching and locating consumers and automotive collateral, placing repossession orders with local agents, and handling fee authorizations and invoice approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and work through location servicing databases to locate consumers and collateral
  • Input data into orders and make phone calls to clients and agents regarding repossession processes
  • Filter and distinguish emails regarding repossessions and have direct contact with consumers regarding collateral surrender
  • Place orders with direct repossession agents once collateral is located and update clients/agents as needed
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to understand and interpret state-specific and Federal laws
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize work according to deadlines and client expectations
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • PC skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Personal responsibility to manage change
  • Comfortable with being on the phone in escalated situations
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Ability to work within several information-generating databases
  • Strong understanding of best practices for Skip Tracing
