This role serves as an individual contributor under the guidance of the Senior Director of Enterprise Applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop solutions that enable seamless collaboration among various systems utilizing AWS and iPaaS (e.g., MuleSoft, Oracle Integration Cloud).
  • Establish a reusable and loosely coupled architecture grounded in a comprehensive understanding of Microservice Architecture and Service-Oriented Architecture.
  • Evaluate current systems and propose architectural enhancements to boost efficiency and functionality.
  • Design patterns leveraging AWS services (e.g., SQS, SNS, Redis) in conjunction with iPaaS solutions (e.g., MuleSoft, Oracle Integration Cloud).
  • Enhance API performance regarding response times, reliability, and resource consumption.
  • Diagnose complex production issues with APIs, identify root causes, and collaborate with relevant teams for resolution.
  • Engage actively in the design and strategic planning of integration architecture and best practice methodologies.
  • Develop integration features and functionalities with minimal oversight.
  • Stay informed about emerging integration technologies and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure effective implementation of integration solutions.

Job Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • 8+ years of experience with iPaaS implementations such as MuleSoft, OIC, or AWS.
  • Professional Cloud certification (e.g., AWS, OCI).
  • 8+ years of experience with RESTful Web Services APIs, XML, and JSON.
  • 8+ years of experience in Object-oriented Programming Languages (Java, C#, Python).
  • Proficiency in data architecture, design, and data modeling, as well as integration architecture and design patterns.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AWS services.
  • AWS Solution Architect Professional Certification.
  • Knowledge of or certification in iPaaS.
  • Experience with Agile and BDD/TDD development methodologies.
  • Experience in a regulatory compliance environment with a focus on 'Zero Trust'.
  • Experience with SaaS Applications (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle ERP, Zuora, Workday, Snowflake).
  • Understanding of Data Integration patterns (e.g., Microservices, Pub/Sub, Batch, Streaming).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD DevOps Lifecycle, including monitoring tools like Datadog.
  • A strong team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
