Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on advanced production equipment, including inspections, repairs, and installations.
  • Equipment Repair: Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, using technical knowledge and skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Equipment Installation: Install new equipment, ensuring proper setup and configuration for optimal performance.
  • Quality Control: Inspect equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Training and Development: Mentor and train less experienced technicians, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance team performance.
Requirements
  • Technical Knowledge: Possess advanced technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including experience with electrical systems, mechanical systems, and product manuals.
  • Experience: Minimum 18 years of age, with experience in electro-mechanical maintenance, repair, and installation.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Electrical Systems: Experience with electrical systems, including starters, fuses, contacts, relays, and frequency drives.
  • Mechanical Systems: Experience with mechanical systems, including gearboxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, and bearings.
  • Product Manuals: Experience with reading and applying knowledge from product manuals to make repairs.
  • Schematics: Experience with reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics.
  • Troubleshooting: Experience with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns and electrical system malfunctions.
Work Environment

The Electro-Mechanical Technician will work in a fast-paced production environment, with frequent exposure to heat, noise, gas, and chemicals. The position requires continuous work near production equipment, with frequent lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending, and kneeling.
