Job Summary

We are seeking a Caregiver and Support Specialist to join our team. As a Caregiver and Support Specialist, you will provide support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Support and Care: Provide support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges.
  • Develop Relationships: Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
  • Assist with Daily Activities: Assist individuals with their personal hygiene, support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs, and help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
  • Support Developmental Goals: Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: No High School Diploma required.
  • Experience: No experience required.
  • Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
  • Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
  • Vehicle: Driver's license preferred but not required.
