Job Summary

We are seeking a Caregiver and Support Specialist to join our team. As a Caregiver and Support Specialist, you will provide direct support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges. You will work in a fast-paced environment, providing a range of services and supports to help individuals achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges
  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
  • Support individuals in developing and achieving their goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
  • Assist individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs
  • Collaborate with other team members to provide a comprehensive range of services and supports

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • No experience required, but previous experience in a care or support role is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Reliable and responsible, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and support
