PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Overseeing the downstream processing operations within the facility.
Facilitating collaboration among production, maintenance, sanitation, quality assurance, shipping, and receiving departments.
Evaluating the performance of each sector to achieve production efficiency, yield, and quality targets.
Establishing goals and assessing shift performance against these objectives.
Motivating team members to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Ensuring sanitation practices comply with USDA regulations.
Aligning production and sanitation maintenance to fulfill daily operational requirements.
Conducting daily equipment assessments and discussing findings with the maintenance supervisor.
Providing clear guidance for supervisors to pursue and fostering teamwork to reach objectives.
Setting ambitious goals and standards for each supervisor while encouraging maximum effort.

Ensuring optimal use of human resources through training, motivating consistent performance, evaluating performance, recommending salary adjustments, and preparing for potential advancement.

Monitoring operations to align with company policies, quality standards, USDA, and OSHA regulations.
Performing facility inspections to identify and rectify hazardous conditions.
Managing all operational aspects to ensure a safe workplace.
Taking prompt action to address unsafe practices or conditions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the poultry or food sector is required, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
Strong leadership capabilities are essential.
Ability to engage effectively with operational and processing management.
Demonstrated critical thinking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
Capability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
High School Diploma or GED; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
