Maxar Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Manager, Internal Communications to join our Westminster, CO-based HR team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing internal and change management communication strategies that align with our company's strategic goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement internal communications strategies and plans that engage employees and promote a positive work culture.
  • Create and manage content for written internal communications, including newsletters, intranet, email, social media, and other channels.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of internal communications initiatives.
  • Manage the internal communications budget and track the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Lead internal social platforms and engage with employees to ensure timely and accurate responses to inquiries.
  • Implement and manage internal communications cloud-based tools to enhance employee experience.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience directly managing or leading a team and working with executive leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of internal communications channels, including digital signage, intranet, email, and social media.
  • Proficient in internal communications software, including Sharepoint, email platforms, and employee experience software tools.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
