We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Health Support Officer to join our team at West Sussex County Council. As a key member of our SEND team, you will play a vital role in driving improvement and collaboration across health, social care, and education.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of the SEND work programme, ensuring alignment with the Sussex-wide SEND agenda.
- Collaborate with partners across health, social care, and education to drive joint working and engagement.
- Contribute to project work related to the SEND and Alternative Provision Change Programme, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide progress reports and present findings to stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality and security.
- Maintain good working relationships with partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of the Sussex-wide SEND agenda, including local plans and strategies. You will be a solution-focused individual with excellent communication skills, able to work in a complex and sensitive environment.
