{"Responsibilities": "As a Preconstruction Intern at Facilitates, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and analyzing historical data, completing plan and specification reviews, and performing material and quantity takeoffs. You will also have the chance to work with a team of experienced professionals and contribute to the development of construction projects.

" + "Key Qualifications:

* Pursuing an undergraduate degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
* Industry experience with a General Contractor or in the construction field, with the ability to understand project owner specifications, engineering drawings, project scheduling, and cost controls
* Strong technology skills, proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe/Bluebeam
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
* Detail-oriented with the ability to recognize discrepancies
* Dependable, results-focused, and ethical
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Involvement in community, student association, and/or extracurricular activities preferred
* Knowledge of construction safety and current federal and OSHA requirements preferred
* Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments
* Successful completion of post-offer background check and drug screens
* Uses safety equipment as prescribed by company to ensure safety on jobsite
* As a safety-sensitive position, complete adherence to alcohol and drug use policies set by company
* In-person, predictable attendance at assigned location
