Marketing and Communications Manager

At The Community Blood Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing and communication initiatives that promote our mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communications strategies to support our objectives and enhance public awareness.
  • Create and manage annual marketing plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling content for various channels, including social media, websites, newsletters, and press releases.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns aimed at increasing blood donations and community engagement.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with media, community partners, and stakeholders.
  • Manage the center's digital presence, including social media profiles and website content.
  • Develop internal communication strategies to keep team members and volunteers informed and engaged.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor marketing and communications team members, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and communications, with a focus on non-profit or healthcare sectors preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing marketing campaigns, content creation, and public relations.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and website management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and engage diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage projects, and work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
