Job Overview

We are actively seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Cabling Infrastructure Specialist. If you possess the qualifications outlined below, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in structured cabling.
  • Proven expertise in the installation and troubleshooting of cabling systems in commercial settings.
  • Familiarity with both Copper and Fiber cabling (CAT5/6).
  • Experience with rack and stacking in data center environments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cabling infrastructure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and site layouts.
  • Knowledge of color coding standards.
  • Proficient with PPE, telecommunications tools, and hand tools.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving history; no recent DUIs or DWIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of diverse cabling systems.
  • Run low voltage cabling within commercial properties, including drilling through concrete and performing limited conduit work.
  • Ensure all cabling is organized and secured in compliance with safety standards.
  • Assist in pre-installation planning by designing and proposing technical solutions.
  • Install cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct.
  • Conduct tests to verify the functionality of newly installed cable systems and components.
  • Troubleshoot network cabling issues.
  • Ensure compliance of electrical systems with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
