Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics/Receiving Associate to join our team at Adecco. This role will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, handling customer service activities, and supporting day-to-day operations in our distribution center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule inbound shipments, including managing the dock schedule and coordinating with clients.
  • Support the receiving function, including receiving and processing shipments, and handling customer service activities.
  • Coordinate and schedule LTL outbound shipments, including obtaining requirements for each shipment, completing quotes, and obtaining approval for shipping carriers.
  • Handle customer service activities, including responding to shipping exceptions, communicating with carriers, and resolving customer complaints.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a production environment, providing inbound, outbound, and customer service activities and support.
  • Previous experience working with parcel and LTL carriers, receiving process and procedures in a distribution center environment, and technical skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Access.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, oral and written communication skills, and ability to lift 50 lbs.
