As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at TLC NURSING SERVICES, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with our OTs to develop and implement effective therapy plans for our patients.
  • Assist patients in carrying out therapeutic activities designed to improve physical, emotional, and developmental abilities.
  • Teach patients and their families or caregivers about exercises and techniques to facilitate recovery and enhance independence in daily activities.
  • Observe and document patient progress and response to treatments, noting any challenges or achievements and reporting back to the OT for plan adjustments.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant or a related field from an accredited program.
  • Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in good standing.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • High level of patience, empathy, and attention to detail.

The estimated salary for this role is $75,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
