Join Our Team as a Cloud Computing Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Computing Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. As a Cloud Computing Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative cloud computing solutions for our government agency clients.

Our team is passionate about using the latest cloud computing technologies to solve complex technical problems and build scalable, fault-tolerant production systems. We are looking for a talented engineer with a solid background in systems engineering, software development, and systems security to join our team.

As a Cloud Computing Solutions Architect, you will work closely with our customers to understand their business needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements. You will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that are secure, scalable, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions for government agency clients
  • Work closely with customers to understand their business needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud computing technologies and best practices
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 1+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems experience
  • 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems, and hands-on systems engineering experience
  • Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
  • Bachelor's degree or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
