As a Talent Acquisition Specialist focused on Manufacturing & Production at Ample, you will thrive in meeting new individuals regularly and possess the ability to assess a candidate's potential through insightful questions and intuition. Your organizational and time management skills are exceptional. You communicate (both written and verbal) in a polished, professional, and enthusiastic manner.
Your role will involve building relationships, promoting the company narrative, and developing a pipeline of qualified candidates, so prior experience in similar functions is advantageous.
You are results-driven and work with a sense of urgency. (This position may offer hybrid flexibility, requiring three days per week in our San Francisco / South San Francisco offices.)What You'll Do:
Maintain and cultivate a pipeline of qualified candidates for manufacturing and operations-related positions (e.g., Manufacturing & Assembly Technicians, Field Operations and Service Representatives).
Conduct initial interviews via phone or in-person and coordinate subsequent interviews with relevant team members.
Manage the full recruitment cycle:
- Sourcing, evaluating, or dismissing candidates based on resume assessments/interview feedback.
- Closing the loop on candidates who are not a fit or extending/negotiating offers with suitable candidates.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree
1-3 years of experience in recruiting for manufacturing/production roles
Ability to work independently and devise creative solutions
Familiarity with job-posting platforms such as Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, etc.
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office; experience with Airtable is a plus
High energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for recruiting aligned with Ample's mission
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; startup experience preferred.
