About the Role:

This position involves providing direct patient care, including taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and administering medications as authorized by physicians. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with treatments and procedures.

In addition to clinical duties, you will perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, and processing medical records. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Previous experience in a medical setting, preferably as a Medical Assistant
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year (dependent on experience)
