Medical Care Specialist

What You Will Do
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement patient care plans, promoting health and wellness through evidence-based strategies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Assist with activities of daily living, vital sign measurements, and accurate documentation of patient information.
- Participate in infection prevention and control measures, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Education and Qualifications
- Successful completion of a medical assistant or patient care technician program, or equivalent experience.
- Active certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) may be substituted for educational requirements.
Licenses and Certifications
- Active certification to practice in Kansas as a CNA or EMT is required.
- First Responder - RQI certification is also required within 90 days.
Experience and Skills
- Experience in an office or clinic setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
