We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Technician to join our team at John B Parsons in Salisbury. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide primary care and services to our residents under the medical direction and supervision of our attending physicians.
Responsibilities- Primary Care and Services: Provide high-quality care to residents, including assessment, illness prevention, and health care management.
- Medication Administration: Accurately prepare, administer, and document medications as ordered by attending physicians.
- Observation and Verification: Observe and verify that medications are ingested or applied as directed.
- Medication Management: Verify that medications brought into the facility by newly admitted residents are examined and identified by attending physicians or pharmacists.
- Communication: Act as liaison with residents, their families, and support departments to plan for resident needs.
- Emergency Response: Assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
- Professional Development: Attend and participate in workshops, seminars, and in-service training programs as directed.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service skills and relate positively with staff, residents, families, and the community.
- Certification: Must have a Certified Med Tech certificate.
