Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and implement nursing plans in a predictable and routine setting
  • Assume leadership responsibility and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program (BSN preferred)
  • Current State of Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) training within 90 days
  • At least one year of continuous experience in a comparable patient care setting (RN I) or new graduate RNs with less than one year of current acute care or comparable experience (RN II)
